WHAT: More than 4,000 U.S. Blockbuster stores will be open Christmas
      Day and New Year's Day.

WHEN: New Year's Eve:  8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
      New Year's Day:  10 a.m. - midnight

PLEASE NOTE: While most U.S. Blockbuster stores will adhere to this
schedule, holiday hours are determined locally and may vary.

WHERE: All major media markets in the country. Call us at 214/854-3190
       to find a store in your area.

WHY: New Year's week is traditionally the biggest week of the year for
     Blockbuster stores with more than a third of all U.S. households
     renting videos, according to Allen Klose, senior vice president,
     market research for Blockbuster.
