WHAT: Michigan's Premier Biomedical Exposition-- Explosive growth in life sciences highlighted at this year's conference WHEN: Michigan Life Sciences Corridor's BIOMED EXPO: ROAD TO SUCCESS, one of the largest meetings of life science professionals in the industry, returns Thursday, October 24, 2002 to the EMU Convocation Center in Ypsilanti, Mich. "This year's event will be bigger and more exciting than ever, reflecting the growth and momentum in Michigan's life sciences community as well as nationally," said Expo Event Coordinator Lisa Kurek of Biotechnology Business Consultants. The program will bring speakers and presenters from across the country to address topics of relevance to the current life sciences environment, including keynote speaker nobel laureate Dr. Paul Berg, a scientific pioneer in the field of molecular biology. The Expo will once again feature a Start-Up Showcase, highlighting new life science companies in Michigan. Costs to attend the Expo are $100 before October 18th and $125 the week of the show. Student tickets are $40 and $50 respectively. "BioMed Expo: Road to Success" is managed by Biotechnology Business Consultants, LLC.
