          software and appliances is buying approximately 1,000
          remaining tickets to Sunday's game against the Minnesota
          Vikings.

      Who: Tickets will be donated to various New Orleans youth
         charities. The donation reflects the Company's commitment to
         improving the lives of children in every Best Buy community.

      When: New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings
          WVUE-TV (Fox) Channel 8 at noon.

      Why: Best Buy is celebrating its first two stores in the New
         Orleans area, set to grand open on Friday, October 5 at the
         following locations:

          --  1601 Westbank Expressway in Harvey

          --  6205 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie
