What: Nintendo will launch Game Boy Advance and 15 new software
titles on June 13. The portable unit, available in three
colors Arctic (white), Glacier (translucent blue), and
Indigo (violet), offers a bigger screen size, 32-bit color
graphics, extended battery life and is compatible with
previous Game Boy software titles. Players will also be able
to hook four Game Boy Advance units together for a
multi-player mode and the unit will act as a controller for
Nintendo's upcoming console, Game Cube.
Beginning May 6, Best Buy customers will be able to preview
Game Boy Advance in stores nationwide. Best Buy stores and
BestBuy.com will also be pre-selling four software titles
available at launch. The titles include:
-- Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
-- Iridion
-- Super Mario Advance
-- F-Zero Maximum Velocity
For a deposit of $5, customers can reserve copies of Game
Boy Advance software titles available on launch day.
When: Sunday, May 6. Stores open at 11 a.m.
Where: Best Buy stores nationwide.
