What: Best Buy and LG Electronics will partner with the
Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) Beach
Volleyball Tour at the upcoming Manhattan Beach Open,
August 7 - 10.
Best Buy and LG will have a special tent set up at Manhattan
Beach featuring LG laundry systems. Fans are encouraged to
bring clothes to be washed, dried and then donated to
Goodwill. Individuals who donate clothing will receive a
limited edition Best Buy/LG Manhattan Beach Open poster.
The LG washer and dryer on display are among the most energy
efficient clothing appliances on the market. The washer
saves as much water in one load of wash as a family of four
will drink in one year.
Why: Best Buy is the first national retailer in the United States
to carry a full line of LG appliances. Both companies are
committed to finding ways to help improve the lives of kids
and are teaming up for this donation to Goodwill.
