What: The Best Buy Fun Zone, a mobile marketing and entertainment
destination, is available for media tours.
The Fun Zone creates the environment of a fully networked home
within the interior of a 53-foot trailer. The truck showcases
the latest technology offered at Best Buy stores, including
products for creating a state-of-the-art gaming room, kitchen,
and high definition home theater. Products featured in the Fun
Zone include high definition plasma TVs and audio systems that
can transform your living room into a state-of-the-art home
theater. Visitors can also experience the latest in computers,
gaming, mobile electronics, high-speed internet and appliances
that offer amazing features and benefits to the homeowner.
The traveling Fun Zone features:
-- A series of 14 monitors that show the superior picture
quality and clarity of flat-panel LCD and high definition
plasma TV, using video streamed through an advanced
audio/video/Internet network
-- A satellite 2-way high speed Internet connection for
ultra-fast Web surfing
-- An expandable stage for concerts and events
People who come to the Chicago Blues Fest can tour the Fun
