WHO: Bennett Abrams, naturalist, sculptor, and visionary, has
manifested the centuries-old apple trees in their four distinct
seasons. Each sculpture is individually hand carved, and hand
painted. The design was interpreted by the artist as a total
dining environment under a majestic and intricate canopy of
gnarled limbs in "The Apple Orchard of our Imagination". Other
natural elements, including a 19th century French applewood
harvest table and hand-hewn galvanized tin washtub chairs, create
an all-encompassing sensual experience.
WHAT: Abrams will display his latest original creation, "The Four
Seasons" at "Dining by Design" benefiting DIFFA. Each tree stands
approximately 10-12ft tall.
WHEN: The "The Four Seasons" will be on display Monday, February 4th
and Tuesday, February 5th
