WHAT: Audio news conference with BellSouth Corporation (NYSE: BLS) to
      provide details and answer questions about its long-term
      satellite service agreement with GE Americom, a GE Capital
      company, to use advanced satellite technology to deliver digital
      TV entertainment and interactive information.

      Under the agreement, BellSouth will deliver its new digital
      satellite TV service to more than 14 million households in its
      current telecommunications markets, with a potential to reach
      50 million households in neighboring states outside the
      southeastern U.S.
