On Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, the press is offered a behind-the-scenes look at the high tech security measures in place to protect the residents of Summit County in the event of an Olympic-related emergency. Participants will see a demonstration of the Emergency Warning and Evacuation technology that the county has installed to alert and assist in the evacuation of county residents, in the event of an Olympic crisis.

Members of the press can meet with county public safety officials, as well as former sheriff's deputy Stephen Meer, one of the founders of Intrado -- the company that developed the emergency warning technology.
