WHO: Rick Thorne, Vans-sponsored (Nasdaq:VANS) professional BMX
rider and Core Sports television personality. "The Biker in
Black" has competed in nearly every BMX event imaginable
around the world during the past 18 years and has legions of
fans that are drawn to his outgoing personality and unique
style. Rick is also promoting his new Vans BMX shoe, the Rick
Thorne.
WHAT: Rick will meet fans and sign autographs at the 30,000+
sq.-ft. Vans Skatepark at the Mall of Georgia on Sunday and
Monday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. both days.
This is the first of a series of Vans rider appearances at the
Mall of Georgia Vans Skatepark. Skateboarder Willy Santos and
BMX rider Joey "Whitesnake" Marks will appear from 12:00 to
3:00 p.m. on February 23 and 24.
