satellite. The episode "Snapshot" guest-stars her
younger sister Emily Hart, who Melissa directed for
the first time.

Rod" on August 28 at 5PM ET/PT. So Weird is a
half-hour, live-action drama that explores
paranormal phenomena - ghosts, UFO's, ESP, you name
it. Using actual reported phenomena and mythology as
launching points, the series follows the exploits of
13-year-old Annie Thelen (Alexz Johnson), an
exuberant, well traveled, musically inclined girl
who has an uncanny aptitude for attracting all
things weird. She travels the country with rock star
Molly Phillips (Mackenzie Phillips), a close family
friend that helps Annie explore her budding musical
career. Along with Molly's son Jack, head roadie
Ned, Ned's wife Irene, and their two sons Carey and
Clu, Annie and Molly tour the nation by bus,
encountering and exploring paranormal phenomena with
each bend in the road.
