ADVISORY/B/E Aerospace Invites News Media to View New Cockpit Security System in Washington, DC and New York; Video of Weapons Testing to be Shown.

      WELLINGTON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 25, 2001--B/E Aerospace,
Inc.'s (Nasdaq:BEAV) permanent solution to the worldwide issue of
aircraft cockpit security will be on display for members of the media
at next week's news conferences in Washington DC and New York.
      These events will feature video footage of the successful
resistance of the new B/E Aerospace system against handguns, automatic
weapons and brute force assault. The actual door used in the weapons
testing, as well as a full-scale version of the product, will be on
display.
      B/E's AeroGuard(TM) cockpit security system features an
anti-ballistic cockpit door with a patent-pending locking system. A
camera system enables the flight crew to monitor the passenger cabin.
