When: Aug. 24, 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.


With its first annual "Good Vision, Good Grades" event, Axis Laser Eye Center's optometrists and ophthalmologists are bringing better eyesight eye·sight

Vision plays a vital role in the reading and learning process, and to help the education process in Arizona Arizona (âr'əzō`nə), state in the southwestern United States. It is bordered by Utah (N), New Mexico (E), Mexico (S), and, across the Colorado R., Nevada and California (W). , a free eye exam is being offered to children from the age of 4 to 17; children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Also, should a child need glasses, Vision Laser Eye will also provide those free of cost.

Children must have crisp, sharp eyesight in order to see the print clearly in both books and on the blackboard (1) See Blackboard Learning System.

(2) The traditional classroom presentation board that is written on with chalk and erased with a felt pad. Although originally black, "white" boards and colored chalks are also used.
. And while schools do have standard vision screenings, those tests merely check childrens' sharpness of vision at a distance and refer children for glasses if they have blurry blur

Childrens' vision involves so much more, and thousands of children suffer from undetected vision problems that can make learning and social life difficult.
