    INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2002--

What:       The fifth annual Award for Excellence in Reporting on
            Disability Issues. Entries should focus on the need for
            change in public policy for people with disabilities or on
            increasing awareness of disability issues.

Sponsors:   Indiana Governor's Planning Council for People with
            Disabilities, Ball State University and Indiana University

Criteria:   Entries must have been published or broadcast in Indiana
            from April 1, 2001, to March 31, 2002.

            Entries must be postmarked no later than August 15, 2002.

            Original clips are preferred, but duplicates will be
            accepted. Radio and television entries must have actually
            broadcast. Print entries should be classified as a column,
            routine article or enterprise reporting.

            No part of an entry will be returned. The Council, Ball
            State University and Indiana University reserve the right
            to use part or whole entries for publicity or educational
            purposes.

To Enter:   Submit your entry with title, date of publication/air
            date, reporter, news organization, and reason for the
            nomination. Print publications should include current
            circulation figures, as awards will be given in the
            following circulation categories: less than 10,000;
            10,000 to 40,000; and more than 40,000.

            Also include your name and contact information as the
            person nominating the entry. You may nominate yourself.

            A panel of judges from Ball State University, Indiana
            University and the Council will evaluate all entries based
            on: readability, effectiveness, accuracy and completeness,
            relevance to disability issues and resourcefulness of the
            reporter. The award will be presented at the Council's
            annual conference Nov. 19-20, 2002 in Indianapolis.
