WHO:     Santa Claus, The Automobile Club of Southern California,
         Razor USA, the California Highway Patrol and Orthopaedic
         Hospital urge parents to comply with a new state helmet law.
         Santa says: "Safety is the Perfect Holiday Gift."

WHAT:    Santa Claus, assisted by Team Razor, will give helmets to
         children from Orthopaedic Hospital as Christmas gifts to help
         kids comply with a new state law requiring protective head
         gear for children riding non-motorized scooters, skateboards
         or in-line skates.

WHEN:    Friday, Dec. 13, 2002 at 10 a.m.

WHERE:   Auto Club Headquarters building, 2601 S. Figueroa Blvd. in
         Los Angeles. News conference, helmet gift-giving and Razor
         stunt demonstration will occur in the back parking lot on
         27th Street.

WHY:     On Jan. 1, 2003, a new state law, SB 1924, takes effect. It
         requires anyone under 18 years old to wear a helmet when
         riding on a non-motorized scooter or using a skateboard or
         in-line skates.

NOTE TO
EDITORS: At 10 a.m. Santa Claus will arrive with a CHP motorcycle
         escort on an Auto Club flatbed tow truck. Santa will give away
         the helmets immediately after arrival. Members of Team Razor
         will perform stunts and give instruction to children on safe
         operation of a scooter. The Auto Club and CHP will be
         available to speak about the new law.
