News/Assignment Editors

ADVISORY...for Thursday Thursday: see week.  (February February: see month.  21)

 2002

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

Who: David McCullough, twice a National Book Award winner and
winner of a Pulitzer Prize; author of Truman, Mornings
on Horseback and the recent best-seller John Adams; and
host and narrator of various PBS series and
documentaries, will be interviewed by Parker Ladd,
co-executive producer of the A&E Network's program Open
              Book.

What: McCullough will discuss the timeless characteristics of
leaders, breakthrough ideas that endure for centuries,
grace under fire and more during a spirited, on-stage
interview with A&E Network's Parker Ladd during the
second general session at CAMEX. Hundreds of college
store retailers are expected to attend.

Why: Retailers have experienced dynamic and pervasive changes
during the past few years. Could history possibly be a
resource and guide for college store merchants as they
address emerging issues like the digital delivery of
              course materials, e-commerce and more?
