Students From Across The Country Have Printed "Good Luck" Cards

Using the Same Epson Printer Technology to Accompany Glenn and

Six Other Astronauts on Space Shuttle Discovery Oct. 29

WHAT: "Good luck" cards for John Glenn from students nationwide

will arrive in Cape Canaveral for the finale of the Epson

nearly 700 students and teachers from Challenger 7

Elementary School in Cocoa, Fla. for the festivities.

Select Challenger 7 students, like hundreds of others

nationwide, will board a high-tech bus to make personalized

cards using computers, EPSON digital cameras and EPSON

Stylus Color ink jet printers -- the same Epson printer

technology that will be on board Space Shuttle Discovery for

Glenn's mission Oct. 29. Other cities visited by the tour

include: Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis,

Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, Miami

and Glenn's hometown of New Concord, Ohio.

WHO: Buzz Aldrin, Challenger 7 Elementary children and teachers,

and Epson executives are available for interviews.

WHEN: Tuesday, Oct. 27

9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Select students make cards

10:45 - 11:20 a.m. Grand finale ceremony
