What: Datastream Systems, Inc. is announcing the Datastream 7i
Mobile advanced module at National Manufacturing Week
(see press release entitled: "DATASTREAM ANNOUNCES DATASTREAM
7i MOBILE; NEXT-GENERATION SOLUTION EXTENDS THE POWER OF
DATASTREAM 7i TO MOBILE WORKERS"). As part of this
announcement, Datastream will demonstrate the industry's first
J2ME-compliant Asset Performance Management application in
booth #219 at National Manufacturing Week. J2ME is Sun
Microsystems' version of Java that is used for cellular phones
and other devices with limited hardware resources. Datastream
will show how companies can extend mobile Asset Performance
Management to devices such as Java-enabled cellular phones.
