, and Sandia National Laboratories Sandia National Laboratories, which is managed and operated by the Sandia Corporation (a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation), is a major United States Department of Energy research and development national laboratory with two locations, one in Albuquerque, New  announce the partnership for the Tri-Valley Technology Enterprise Center.

The Enterprise Center is a follow-up of an Economic Vitality Study conducted last year by the Business Council. The Study found the region needed more entrepreneurial infrastructure for four industry clusters: software development, scientific/biomedical devices and materials, telecommunications and wine/recreation.
