ADVISORY/AmmoCore to Showcase Fabrix and Four Million Gate Tapeout at DAC in Booth #4720.

Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

ADVISORY...for June June: see month.  7-10

Design Automation Conference 2004

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

What: AmmoCore Technology, Inc., a provider of design implementation
solutions for the rapid delivery of complex deep sub-micron
system-on-chip (SoC) devices, will demonstrate its latest
version of Fabrix(R), a netlist to GDSII design flow for rapid
physical implementation of complex system ICs, at the Design
Automation Conference. Fabrix maximizes the return on
investment (ROI) by minimizing die size, reducing EDA software
cost for large designs, and maximizing the productivity of
each engineer. Fabrix also speeds up the Silicon Virtual
Prototyping (SVP) phase of design, supporting easier
implementation of complex clocks, and enabling fast ECO turn
around times and iterations through utilization of massive
        parallel processing capabilities.

To demonstrate the benefits of Fabrix, AmmoCore will present a
four million gate design that was taped out with first silicon
success. A single engineer was able to complete the 0.11u
design in 30 days using a smaller die size and in a shorter
time period than the previous methodology that had been
        implemented.

When/where:
The Design Automation Conference in San Diego, California at
the San Diego Convention Center, June 7 - 10, booth #4720.

To schedule a suite demonstration of Fabrix, please contact
Farshid Tabrizi, director of marketing and business
development, by email Farshid@ammocore.com or call
        408-748-4043.

About Fabrix

Fabrix was developed for the physical design implementation of complex deep sub-micron SoCs. The solution is based on AmmoCore's patented SuperFlat This article may contain original research or unverified claims.

Fabrix consists of three technology components: RapidPlanner(TM), RapidPredicter(TM) and RapidImplementer(TM). Together they enable design teams to improve overall performance in chip design, reduce cost, and accelerate time-to-market.
