 Inc. (Nasdaq:INTU INTU Intuit, Inc. (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ), the maker of Quicken(R) TurboTax(R), found 61 percent of Americans expect to benefit the most from lower tax rates since income taxed at a lower rate may mean extra money in their pockets.

The tax rates for the top four tax brackets decreased by another half of a percentage point from 2001. The new rates have been lowered to 27%, 30%, 35%, and 38.6%.

Of the 600 consumers polled between May 3 - May 6, 2002 on www.turbotax.com, another 26 percent said they expect to benefit from increased IRA Ira, in the Bible
