BACKGROUND:
Images of the City of Philadelphia, its people and its
neighborhoods are the focus of a special photography
exhibit at the University of The Arts this October. The
fourth annual "Shoot In Philly" exhibition, at the
University of The Arts from October 9 through 31, features
the works of members of the Philadelphia chapter of the
American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP
Philadelphia). The juried exhibition features photographs
that capture the spirit of Philadelphia's diverse
neighborhoods from a group of 15 local photographers.
Those photographers include: Steven H. Begleiter, Richard
Bell, Rick Davis, Rich Dunoff, David Freese, Michael
Furman, Jerry Millevoi, Paul Pierlott, Barbara Proud,
Blair Seitz, Anthony Sinagoga, Brian Tolbert, Anthony
Ward, Ed Wheeler, and John Wynn. "Shoot in Philly 2003"
will be on display October 9 through 31 at Solmssen Court,
Dorance Hamilton Hall, at The University of the Arts,
located at 320 South Broad Street in Philadelphia.
