WHAT: Blood recipients and American Red Cross volunteers help
dedicate a gift to the community --- a new Red Cross blood
donation bus at a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first
donor will give blood on the bus.
WHY: Blood is essential to the practice of modern medicine. The
ceremony is an opportunity to reflect on the lifesaving
mission of the bus and to call for more people give blood. The
Red Cross is committed to increasing blood donations to meet
the growing need in the region.
