SUPERCOMM 2000

ADVISORY...for Tuesday-Thursday (June June: see month.  6-8)

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

WHO: Adtech, Inc. and Pluris, Inc.

WHAT: Pluris is developing a series of scalable, fault-tolerant
routers to anchor the next-generation Internet infrastructure.
The company is a pioneer in the use of distributed, multi-
stage switching, optical fiber data busses and backplanes, and
scalable protocols to develop a new class of router. Service
providers can link multiple Teraplex 20 chassis to increase
capacity yet maintain a single router, simplifying operations
and smoothing the delivery of new services. Pluris is using
Adtech's AX/4000 Broadband Test System to generate and
monitor traffic on OC-48 links in the Teraplex 20. The
Teraplex 20 will support OC-12, OC-48, and OC-192 ports and
scales line capacity from 10 Gbps to more than 19 Tbps and
switch capacity from 90 Gbps to 184 Tbps.

Adtech's AX/4000 Broadband Test System is a modular, multi-
port system that generates broadband test traffic, analyzes
full-rate traffic in real time and simulates network induced
delays and QoS impairments. Adtech's AX/4000 Broadband Test
Systems can analyze thousands of streams and billions of
traffic flows in core data networks and works across multiple
broadband technologies including ATM, Frame Relay, Ethernet
and IP. Adtech is the first test equipment manufacturer to
introduce full-rate QoS testing up to 10 Gbps.

        Wednesday, June 7 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
