WHAT: Adtech, a premier provider of broadband test systems,
    demonstrates the Quality of Service (QoS) features of Avici
    System's Terabit Switch Router (TSR(R)) ASICs that enable per
    packet service differentiation at OC-48, OC-12, and OC-3 line
    rates. Adtech's AX/4000 Broadband Test System is the third-party
    test gear used to benchmark the forwarding performance on a
    per-flow basis.

    The Avici Terabit Switch Router (TSR(R)) supports tens of gigabits
    today, and can scale to tens of terabits as bandwidth needs
    increase. Supporting up to 2,240 OC-48 or 560 OC-192 connections,
    the TSR is optimized to take advantage of the huge increases in
    backbone bandwidth enabled through dense wave division
    multiplexing. In addition to providing industry leading
    scalability and throughput, the TSR also incorporates QoS that
    give customers the flexibility to engineer the network to handle
    multiple types of traffic.

    Adtech's AX/4000 Broadband Test System is a modular, multi-port
    system that generates broadband test traffic, analyzes full-rate
    traffic in real time and simulates network induced delays and QoS
    impairments. Adtech`s AX/4000 Broadband Test Systems can analyze
    thousands of streams and billions of traffic flows in core data
    networks and works across multiple broadband technologies
    including ATM, Frame Relay, Ethernet and IP. Adtech is the first
    test equipment manufacturer to introduce full-rate QoS testing up
    to 10 Gbps.
