WHAT:           Since 1984, Abilities Expo/Southern California
                has been the one show dedicated to educating and
                improving the lives of people with disabilities,
                senior citizens, their families & caregivers, as well
                as healthcare and education professionals. The 20th
                anniversary three-day event will take place at the
                Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA from Friday,
                June 11 and continues through Sunday, June 13, 2004.
                Some of the show highlights include:

                --  Attendees will have a chance to discover and learn
                    about new products and services -- from computers
                    to athletic equipment and mobility products to
                    daily living aids -- all conveniently displayed to
                    see, test and compare. Exhibiting companies
                    include Ford Motor Company, Christopher and Dana
                    Reeve Paralysis Resource Center, Advanced
                    Mobility, Sure Hands Lift & Care Systems, Freedom
                    Concepts; and, many others.

                --  Attendees will be able to test new products
                    including AirRise(TM) Assistive Seating Device,
                    LifeStand Standing Wheel Chairs, Dual Speaker
                    Large Button Telephones, HandiPockets(TM) Saddle
                    Bags, and Aquatic Access Products.

                --  The educational curriculum developed by Carmen
                    Jones, the new conference director for the event,
                    focuses on relevant topics addressing life today
                    for individuals with disabilities, their family
                    and caregivers. The educational workshops include:
                    What Happens When You Get Older -- Living with a
                    Long-Term Disability, Sex on Wheels -- The Heart
                    of Intimacy, Promoting Health and Prevention of
                    Complications in People with Spinal Cord Injuries
                    and Diseases, Planning for the Future of your
                    Child with Special Needs; and, much more.

                --  Local and regionally based organizations that work
                    with people with disabilities will also be
                    participating, including the California Department
                    of Rehabilitation, Accessible San Diego,
                    California Telephone Access Program, Disabled
                    Dealer Magazine of California and Nevada, and
                    Living Independently in Los Angeles.
