ADVISORY...for Friday-Sunday (Sept. 12-14)

Abilities Expo/New England England, the largest and most populous portion of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (1991 pop. 46,382,050), 50,334 sq mi (130,365 sq km). It is bounded by Wales and the Irish Sea on the west and Scotland on the north.

WHAT:   Abilities Expo/New England, the one show dedicated to
        educating and improving the lives of people with disabilities,
        senior citizens, their families & caregivers, as well as
        healthcare and education professionals. The three-day event
        will take place at the World Trade Center in Boston, MA from
        Friday, September 12 and continue through Sunday, September
        14, 2003. Some of the show highlights include:

        -- The show floor and educational program will provide
           attendees a chance to discover and learn about new products
           and services -- from computers to athletic equipment and
           mobility products to daily living aids -- all conveniently
           displayed to see, test and compare. Exhibiting companies
           include Independence Technology, a Johnson & Johnson
           Company, Ford Motor Company, Easter Seals Massachusetts,
           Federations for Children with Special Needs, Special
           Olympics MA-Metro Boston, U.S. Department of Justice,
           Verizon, and many others.

        -- A conference program designed to discuss and touch on
           issues and challenges and address them in a healthy and
           productive way. Stanley D. Klein, PhD, a licensed clinical
           psychologist and co-editor of You Will Dream New Dreams
           developed the educational curriculum and will discuss
           relevant topics addressing life today for individuals with
           disabilities, their family and caregivers. conference
           sessions to include: Using computers to increase
           participation in meaningful activities, What's new in
           sensory integration theory, research, and treatment, Access
           to health care services for persons with disabilities:
           Defining the barriers and successful strategies for change,
           Caught in the web: Why is web accessibility important,
           Adoption for people with disabilities -- a great way to
           build a family, and much more.

        -- The Special Olympics of Boston, the New England Handicapped
           Sports Association and AbilityPlus will offer soccer and
           adaptive skiing demonstrations on the show floor at various
           times throughout the three-day event.
