REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 2002

Al Michaels will join John Madden in the announcing booth for Madden NFL 2003 from Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS). The new Monday Night Football announcing duo will be calling plays for the best-selling football videogame franchise, Madden NFL Football, due out later this summer and in its 13th year. Last year Madden NFL 2002 sold more three million units on eight different platforms.



Conference Call Info:

    WHO:        John Madden and Al Michaels and Chip Lange, vice
                president of marketing, Electronic Arts, will host a
                conference call to discuss the new partnership in the
                videogame. There will be a question and answer period
                during the second half of the call.

    WHEN:       11:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, Thursday, April 25,
                2002. Participants should dial-in 15 minutes prior to
                the scheduled time of the call so the call may begin
                promptly.

    DIAL IN:    The dial in number for the call is 719/457-2693. The
                confirmation number for the call is 477972.
                Participants do not need to confirm their
                participation.

    WEBCAST:    The conference call will also be webcast live, and any
                person who cannot or chooses not to participate in the
                conference call may listen to the web cast at
                www.info.ea.com. Web cast listeners should log in 15
                minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the call
                to ensure all system requirements are in place.
