It's every kid's dream, to work with his or her idol. That dream's about to come true for TV's newest magic star, Franz Harary, one-time protege of pop star Michael Jackson.

On Wed. (Oct. 4), Harary, star of "Masters of Illusion," on PAX TV, the first new weekly magic series on television in 40 years, will link up with the first ever magic star on television, some 40 years ago, Mark Wilson.

Wilson, who along with his wife, Nani, starred in "The Magic Land of Allakazam," for both CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  and ABC ABC
 in full American Broadcasting Co.

Major U.S. television network. It began when the expanding national radio network NBC split into the separate Red and Blue networks in 1928.
, was the first magician to enjoy national television fame with a weekly series, launched on Oct. 1, 1960.

It's taken 40 years for the second magic themed series to make it to national television, on the family-oriented PAX television network.

For Harary, the chance to host Wilson on his new TV series is a real coup, a once-in-a-lifetime professional experience.

"He's the master, the pioneer, a true legend, in both the worlds of television and magic," said Harary.
