    Los Angeles World Airports and the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs
      Department Will Unveil and Dedicate a Permanent Art Exhibit
            Commissioned to Memorialize September 11, 2001


Event:     In memory of 9-11, a specially created artwork entitled,
           "Recovering Equilibrium," will be officially dedicated to
           the public. This artwork gives an opportunity for visitors
           and the community to take a personal look to how the
           tragedy has affected them and how they have grown from it.

           This year marks the second year anniversary of the 9-11
           attacks. The tragedy has significant meaning to LAX and the
           community as three of the four airplanes were headed to
           LAX.

When:      Tuesday, September 9, 2003
           10 a.m.

Where:     Theme Building Courtyard, LAX
           201 World Way

Parking:   Broadcast-equipped media vans ONLY can park along the
           northside curb in the traffic lane adjacent to the Theme
           Building. Others can park for free in the nearest metered,
           open-air Lots 2 and 6 across from the same numbered
           terminals or pay for parking.
