In Mashon, the student run restaurant, part of the Orlando
Culinary Academy's Le Cordon Bleu program.
Why: In commemoration of the anniversary of 9/11/01, the culinary
students and faculty want to thank the local rescue teams
for the work they do in Orlando.
Highlights: -- Fifty to 70 rescue workers, with guests will be the honored hon·or n. 1. High respect, as that shown for special merit; esteem: the honor shown to a Nobel laureate. 2. a. Good name; reputation. b. guests of the Academy. -- More than 30 culinary cu·li·nar·y adj. Of or relating to a kitchen or to cookery. [Latin cul n students who have volunteered their timeand efforts to produce this event. The students will cook and serve. -- Several students who have just returned from Iraq Iraq or Irak (both: ēräk`, ĭrăk`), officially Republic of Iraq, republic (2005 est. pop. 26,075,000), 167,924 sq mi (434,924 sq km), SW Asia. will also be acknowledged. -- The menu packet will include poems, thank you letters and other messages to the rescue workers, from the students. -- A special recipe New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of Cheesecake won an internal contest and will be the dessert for the evening. |
