What: The public is invited to spend an evening of food, games and
entertainment with Sony Computer Entertainment America, San
Francisco 49ers players, alumni and the Gold Rush
Cheerleaders. Evening highlights include players
participating in a PlayStation video game challenge, hosted
by KGO-radio's Joe Starkey, a sports memorabilia auction and
a buffet dinner.
The leader in the videogame entertainment industry, Foster
City-based Sony Computer Entertainment America, is teaming
up with the 49ers Foundation to help local Bay Area
programs. Proceeds from the event will benefit several Bay
Area charities including the SF Boys & Girls Club at Hunters
Point, the NFL Alumni's Caring for Kids Program and the
49ers Foundation's community grant programs.
The 49ers Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the
educational, social and cultural needs of Bay Area
Communities. They offer unique resources and financial
support to non-profit organizations working to enrich and
strengthen communities throughout Northern California.
