Biography for Robert Horst, Vice President of Research and Technology

Robert Horst, vice president of research and technology for 3ware, Inc., is developing patented high performance switched storage systems. Previously, he was a technical director in Compaq's Tandem Labs where he led the architecture team that developed the ServerNet System Area Network. At Tandem, he also contributed to the architecture and design of five generations of fault-tolerant parallel computer systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and MSEE MSEE Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
