WHAT: More than 30 leaders in semiconductor and embedded
technology will exhibit at the 2004 International CES,
the world's largest annual consumer technology
tradeshow, to broker new business relationships with
consumer electronics manufacturers.
The International CES is the must-attend event for
semiconductor and embedded technology companies. Some
companies scheduled to exhibit include: ATI
Technologies, Broadcom, Cirrus Logic, DSP Group,
Hirose, Intel Corp., Intellon, LSI Logic, Marvell
Semiconductor, Micro Linear, Micronas, National
Semiconductor, Nvidia, Philips Semiconductor, Texas
Instruments, Transmeta, Tripath, Wolfson
Microelectronics, Xilinx and Zoran.
For the first time, CES has partnered with MIT Media
Lab to produce the Launch TechZone, located in the
upper level of the South Hall. This area focuses on
such areas as nanotechnologies, robotics, biometrics
and voice recognition devices.
CES will feature several semiconductor and embedded
technology leaders in its conference program,
including Industry Insider addresses from Paul
Otellini, president and COO of Intel, and Michael
Dell, chairman of the board and CEO of Dell Computer
Corp.
