WHAT: The New England Business and Technology Association (NEBATA)
announces that it will host the Technology-Enabled
Business/Awards Summit, where it will announce the 20
finalists for the New England Business and Technology Awards,
as well as induct Dr. Myra Hart and Dr. Kenan Sahin into
NEBATA's "Circle of Excellence" on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at
the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, Boston, MA.
During the 2004 Technology-Enabled Business/Awards Summit
Suzanne Bates, award-winning television news anchor and CEO of
Bates Communications, will emcee the evening's festivities,
which will include a reception, a brief recap of the
Leadership Roundtable, the presentation of the Circle Of
Excellence Awards, and the announcement of the 20 finalists
for the New England Business and Technology Awards.
WHO: 20 finalists for the New England Business and Technology
Awards, as well as the first two distinguished business and
technology leaders to be inducted into NEBATA's "Circle of
Excellence":
-- Dr. Myra Hart, Harvard Business School professor and a
founding officer of Staples
-- Dr. Kenan Sahin, president of TIAX, a collaborative product
and technology development firm that accelerates innovation by
integrating business, industry, and hands-on technology

with Lucent Technologies.
