ONE SMALL STEP FOR HEALTH: The American Heart Association conducts the American Heart Walk annually at the Westlake Village Inn as a concentrated effort to fight heart disease and brain attack (stroke), the No. 1 killer in our nation. The money raised from this non-competitive fun event supports AHA's research and community education programs. When you participate, you're part of making an important difference.

A SIMPLE, VITAL PROCESS: To be part of the American Heart Walk, you simply collect donations from family, friends, co-workers and anyone you know who might help with this worthy cause. On the day of the walk you turn in all the money you've collected. It's that simple. No pledges. No IOUs. You set your own goal to raise and start making contacts. Also, there's a bonus incentive because you can receive great recognition awards based on the amount you collect.

EVERYONE CAN JOIN IN: This fun event was organized so that everyone can be part of it. All group sizes, all ages are welcome to participate. Whether by yourself or as part of a group, your participation is needed and celebrated.
