What: With the economy nearing recession levels and the
stock market being overrun with bears, how is the
regional technology-oriented job market holding
up? Are corporations actively hiring? Are they
laying off?
The recruiters for regional corporations and the
Drexel students they are interviewing at the
University's Career Management Center's annual
interview sessions may be able to provide some
answers.
More than 85 corporations are interviewing more
than 1,200 Drexel graduating students over
this year's two-week interview sessions for
positions ranging from engineering and finance to
information systems. Thursday's recruiters
include Applied Card Systems and Foamex.
Friday's recruiters include Enterprise Rent-A-Car
and Siemens USA.
When: Thursday and Friday, November 15 and 16, 2001,
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
(The most interviewing occurs from 9 a.m. through
noon)
