Who: Susan Loconto Penta, co-founder, Midior Consulting
(Cambridge), is an engineer and successful entrepreneur.
During the past 20 years, she has founded ventures in the data
communications, Internet and mobile data markets. Penta is a
popular speaker on the topic of innovation and e-business
transformation and has presented at numerous industry
conferences and seminars. Most recently, she served as a
"bootcamp" coach for 30 women entrepreneurs selected by
Springboard 2000 who are preparing to present business plans
to venture funding firms next month.
Penta's background includes positions as a design engineer,
product manager and high-tech CEO. She is an advisor and
trustee for two Boston-based non-profits: HealthWorks
Foundation and Schools for Children.
She holds a BSEE degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute
and an MBA from The City University Business School, London.
