    ADVISORY for ...Thursday (May 24)

    --(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Fmr. Daschle Staffer, O'Melveny & Myers Partner Ronald A. Klain
Available for Insight and Commentary on Democratic Takeover of U.S.
                                Senate

In his new role as Senate Majority Leader, Sen. Tom Daschle (D-SD)
will have an immediate and significant impact on a range of
high-profile political and policy questions -- from tax cuts to
education to nominations -- according to his former senior aide,
Ronald A. Klain, a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of
O'Melveny & Myers LLP.
Find out from Klain, who chairs O'Melveny's Strategic Counseling
Practice Group, what impact this Democratic take-over will have on the
Senate. Klain has been widely quoted in the media regarding Senator
Daschle, and the policy agenda pending on Capitol Hill. Klain can
discuss:

-- How will the debate over tax policy, health care policy, and
judicial nominations be changed by the Democratic take-over?

-- How will Democrats use their new influence and power to shape the
    Senate's agenda

An overview of Klain's and O'Melveny & Myers' experience:

Klain has worked for seven Democratic United States Senators in a
range of capacities, including Daschle; Sen. Joseph Biden (as chief
counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee); Sen. Joe Lieberman (as
senior advisor on the Gore-Lieberman campaign); Sen. Harry Reid (as
Daschle's liaison to the Democratic Policy Committee), and as a
political advisor and consultant to Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Sen. John
Kerry, and Sen. Evan Bayh.
In addition to Klain, several O'Melveny & Myers attorneys have
strong connections to the new Senate Democratic Leadership. Like
Klain, Kelly Riordan is also a veteran of Sen. Daschle's leadership
staff. Jessica Miller served on the staffs of Sen. Bob Graham and fmr.
Sen. Frank Lautenberg. Jeremy Bash worked closely with the Lieberman
team as the foreign policy staffer to the Gore-Lieberman presidential
campaign, and as a staffer with the Democratic Leadership Council
during Lieberman's chairmanship. Amy Kay served on the staff of Sen.
Chris Dodd.
