        (As of May 13, regular Tasting Library hours will be from 11
        a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and by appointment on
        Mondays and Tuesdays)

WHAT:   Clos LaChance celebrates the opening of its new Hospitality
        Center and Tasting Library. During the "Inaugural Weekend,"
        guests are welcome to sample current releases on the Grand
        Terrace overlooking the CordeValle Golf Club.

          --  Current releases will be available at a special "Inaugural
            Weekend" discount

          --  Winemaker Jeff Ritchey will be available to sign bottles
            on Saturday, May 11

          --  Several rare library wines will be offered for tasting and
            purchase

          --  Tours of the barrel room, crush pad and production
            facility will be conducted

          --  Clos LaChance will also introduce Amber's Cuvee, the first
            release of sparkling wine created from Santa Cruz
            Mountains' chardonnay grapes

      Clos LaChance is a family-owned winery adjacent to CordeValle
Resort located in San Martin, CA. Owners Bill and Brenda Murphy craft
wines from local mountainside vineyards and premium appellations
throughout California. Clos LaChance takes its name from the small
fenced-in area encompassing a vineyard (Clos) and from co-owner Brenda
Murphy's maiden name. Winemaker Jeff Ritchey crafts Cabernet
Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Zinfandel. Under
the direction of Ben Scorsur, vineyard manager for Clos LaChance
Winery and CK Vines, 20 varietals are currently under extensive clonal
research. Clos LaChance is located 30 minutes south of San Jose and 45
minutes north of the Monterey Peninsula. For further information
