Keith T. Brown, founder and chairman of BuildNet, Inc. will be presenting, "The BuildNet Story" at the Thomas Weisel B2B eCommerce Conference. The presentation features insight into how BuildNet's vision of e-business is changing the face of the residential home building industry. The session will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2000, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.

Brown and BuildNet have gained the support of private placement firms, industry gurus and members of the building community and will begin roll out of the company's e-business platform in 25 major cities in the year 2000. BuildNet aims to significantly reduce the wastefulness of the current supply chain by facilitating electronic commerce among builders, manufacturers and distributors.
