ADVISORY/ Intel to Host Press Breakfast At Consumer Electronics Show.Business Editors/High-Tech Writers ADVISORY...for Wednesday Wednesday: see week. (Jan. 9, 2002) CES 2002 --(BUSINESS WIRE)
WHAT: Press breakfast at the 2002 Consumer Electronics Show (CES)
in Las Vegas.
On Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the CES, Intel will hold a breakfast
press reception at the Intel booth (No. 331). Ann Lewnes, vice
president of Sales and Marketing and director of Consumer
Marketing, will discuss the products and technologies Intel
is developing to help put the consumer at the center of an
exciting digital world.
Not long ago, consumers used their PCs for personal productivity
and managing their finances. Today, consumers use PCs to stay
in touch with family and friends and to keep abreast of world
news. They are attaching digital camcorders, digital cameras
and digital audio players to the PC to share photos, to listen
to and store music, and to preserve images and home movies.
Consumers are going mobile. With a thin-and-light notebook PC
and a wireless connection, consumers can surf the Web from any
room in the house. And then there are the cool handheld devices
that let you keep in touch with your office or home wherever
you are.
