ADVISORY/ Denali's Mark Gogolewski To Present 'Configurable Memory Processor Cores: The Next Generation of Memory Controllers' Paper During DesignCon 2002.Business/Technology Editors ADVISORY..for Jan. 29 (Tues.) --(BUSINESS WIRE)
WHO: Mark Gogolewski, vice president of engineering and co-founder
at Denali Software in Palo Alto, Calif.
WHAT: Will present a paper titled, "Configurable Memory Processor
Cores: The Next Generation of Memory Controllers" at the
Reference Design Village at DesignCon 2002.
High-speed memory systems are playing an increasingly critical
role in the design of networking, graphics, and consumer
applications. Much of the design value in these systems can be
measured by the efficiency by which data is moved between
processing units and memory. This paper will describe the next
generation of memory controllers, configurable memory
processors, which offer traditional memory-control
functionality as well as sophisticated logic for optimizing
system-level memory bandwidth. It will describe Denali's
Databahn(TM) product, a commercial solution for configurable
memory processors, and discuss alternatives. Example
implementations include an FPGA reference design developed by
Denali Software and Avnet Design Services using the latest
high-speed DDR-SDRAM devices.
WHEN: Tuesday, January 29, from 9 a.m. (P.S.T.)
WHERE: Santa Clara Convention Center
Santa Clara, California
