WHO
Rep. Mike Honda will make remarks on charitable giving and airline
security at an event sponsored by PIXIM, a Silicon Valley startup
producing breakthrough computer chips for digital imaging that can be
used in a wide range of products, including high-resolution security
cameras. Honda will be joined by PIXIM executives and representatives
of the Entrepreneurs Foundation at the event.

WHAT
PIXIM will be cited by Honda for its donation of $100,000 in stock to
the Entrepreneurs Foundation, a group that serves youth programs
throughout the Bay Area. Honda will also discuss the role of Silicon
Valley startups in the global war against terrorism with PIXIM CEO Bob
Weinschenk. PIXIM's camera-on-a-chip technology promises to
revolutionize the security camera industry.

Honda, a member of the Aviation Subcommittee in the U.S. House of
Representatives, has led the effort to bring the federal government

role innovative Silicon Valley companies like PIXIM will take on to
meet the new set of security needs in the United States.

to support educational and youth programs throughout the Bay Area. The
innovative Entrepreneurs Foundation accepts equity positions in
growing startups like PIXIM to create an investment fund for community
programs. Rep. Honda, a former Bay Area teacher, and leading voice in
Congress on high-technology and education issues, cites PIXIM and the

in Silicon Valley.
