WHO: XtremeSpectrum today announced that John McCorkle,
chief technology officer, will present at the Intel
Ultra-Wideband Conference. Mr. McCorkle is a
pioneering technologist in the area of
ultra-wideband, signal processing and communication
systems. Prior to co-founding the company, he was
the principle investigator for the US Army Research
Laboratories' ultra-wideband radar research efforts.
WHAT: Panel Discussion: Ultra-Wideband Regulations and
Coexistence with Existing Narrowband Systems
Participating on a panel with leading ultra-wideband
experts, Mr. McCorkle will discuss the low emissions
of ultra-wideband technology, its ability to
co-exist without interference to other devices and
the wireless industry's desire to meet reasonable
limits from the Federal Communications Commission.
