ADVISORY/ Boston Cares Celebrates 6th Annual Corporate Volunteer Day.Business Editors BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 2002 Boston Cares is celebrating its 6th Annual Corporate Volunteer Day on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The day begins with over thirty service projects throughout Greater Boston from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and concludes with a Celebration of Service from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Bishop's Pub and Sweetwater Cafe in the Alley on Boylston Street. Proceeds from the sponsorship event will support Boston Cares' year-round programming. More than 30 companies will volunteer at local non-profit organizations for this special city-wide day of corporate community service. Teams of volunteers from businesses across the region will partake in service projects, including planting crops for the hungry, landscaping city parks, and painting schools.
