In order to advance to the NBA 2ball Championship, each team won its local, area, and city level competitions. The finalist teams received the highest scores in their age group in their respective conference (Eastern and Western) at the city level. Nickelodeon will also be on hand covering the event for a nationally televised special, "NBA 2ball at the Finals," to be aired on the Nickelodeon GAS Network block. The 36 finalists and NBA players will be available for interviews and photo opportunities.
