WHO: Descend into the depths with legendary undersea
explorer Robert Ballard. Follow the discoverer of the
Titanic and USS Yorktown as he reports on his latest
expeditions in this unforgettable presentation. In 27
years of exploring the vast wilderness of the world's
oceans, Ballard has launched over a 100 deep-sea
quests. He has pioneered exploration technologies that
have taken him to once-forbidden depths. His innovative
approaches have enabled him to solve many riddles of
the ocean's chemistry and biology, leading to
unprecedented archaeological discoveries. He also
founded the JASON project, an acclaimed learning and
involvement program for young people.
