ADVISORY...for Thursday (April 25)

WHO:        Employees of GE Employers Reinsurance Corporation (GE ERC)
            and their children; 5th grade students from Eugene Ware
            Elementary School in Kansas City, Kan.; and local Girl
            Scouts.

WHAT:       "GE ERC Take our Children to Work Day," being held in
            conjunction with National Take Our Daughters to Work Day.

WHEN:       Thursday, April 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

WHERE:      GE ERC world headquarters, 5200 Metcalf, Overland Park

WHY:        Because it is important that our children understand what
            we do for a living. We want to inspire, challenge and
            empower our children to set goals and pursue them.
            Children of GE ERC employees and local elementary school
            students will spend the day exploring their mom or dad's
            workplace, participating in hands-on activities, and
            shadowing their mentor.

NOTE:       The media are invited to "shadow" along with the children
            from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The children will be jurors
            deciding a mock trial, take apart and rebuild a computer,
            and use Six Sigma Quality processes to build a working
            catapult. These are just a few of the 15 activities our
            children will participate in during the day.
