WHAT: Celebrate the Spirit of John Lennon's song "Imagine"
with Amnesty International. The local Huntington
Beach Chapter of Amnesty International hosts a free
Multi-Cultural Music & Dance program featuring
musicians from different cultures around the world.
"Imagine" features an Afghanistan Instrumental
Ensemble, with Tamim Assifi, Azim Erian and Hamid
Shamel; Dhol Drummers and Folk Dancers of India;
Native American flutist 10-year-old Evren Ozan;
Miyagi Nosho, a Traditional Dance Troupe of Japan;
the Mediterranean Rakkisat Al Zamon Belly Dancers,
and Spanish guitarist and singer, Marcial Jorge, and
other performers.
